CO-FOUNDER + DESIGNER
Hello! I’m a proud wife + mama to three (growing up way too fast) kids. Before transitioning to the world of interior design, I spent 12 years running my own business in dental sales, working closely with dentists to build and operate their practices.
My design journey began in 2013, shortly after the birth of my eldest, when I channeled my creativity into founding a successful, locally made children’s apparel company. This experience nurtured my eye for detail, love of textures, and appreciation for collaboration, community, and craftsmanship.
When we became homeowners, my passion naturally shifted to interiors. I discovered the joy of transforming our home into a reflection of who we are as our family grew and evolved. I fell in love with curating pieces that felt timeless—items I could imagine keeping in our home for decades and eventually passing down to our children as they create homes of their own. Whether it’s a vintage rug, artwork collected during travels, or serve ware cherished and passed down from my grandmother, these treasures tell a story and add a meaningful layer to our spaces.
Over the years, I’ve found my niche in transitional design—a style that effortlessly blends comfort, sophistication, and functionality. I truly believe that when you feel at peace in your space, it radiates outward, bringing a sense of calm and positive energy to those around you. Feel joy, spread joy—that’s the magic of a well-designed home. You can absolutely live functionally alongside living beautifully, and that’s exactly what I strive to create for the clients I’m fortunate to work with. Thank you so much for being here!

4. What’s your guilty pleasure? During the week, skipping out on my 5:30 am gym sesh to
binge a TV show in total peace + quiet. The best!
5. What’s one item you can’t live without in your home? My Nespresso machine and a
lamp in each room.
6. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? “Treat others the way you’d want
to be treated.” I can hear my mama’s voice—this is something she told us daily as we
were growing up.
7. Morning person or night owl? Morning gal.
8. A favorite family ritual: Homemade pizzas every Friday night.

Hi there. I have the great honour of being both a wife and mama. I am a businesswoman by trade and visionary at heart.
I spent over 15 years with lululemon, navigating the retail landscape, building brand awareness across the USA, and leading high functioning teams. There, I found my passion for all things design: visual merchandising + store design, curating spaces for large scale events, performance-based apparel, and alas, creating beauty and comfort in my own home.
This journey led me to design school and, ultimately, crafting a career that makes me come alive. Here at STORY, I get to problem solve through design, understand what matters most to people and why, and help them love their spaces. I live for textures, mixed materials, and bringing both style and feel to function. Building a trusted partnership with our clients with room to create, play, and try new things inspires me. I’m excited to create stories for your spaces.

than what would be deemed normal or appropriate?

those able to shine a light where you’re not looking. Never feel threatened by
someone’s ability to see something you don’t, instead, see the opportunity to create
something greater, collectively.”

up.
8. A favorite family ritual? Homemade pizza nights and a close second: our lineup of
holiday classic movies!
Hello, pleased to meet ya! Let me introduce myself.
I was born in Denia, a charming coastal town in Spain, and grew up surrounded by my family in a household of four women. My mother is my greatest inspiration and my grandparents heavily influenced who I am today. From a young age, I've been a creative soul with a passion for art, animals, and people.
My journey led me to study architecture in Valencia, a beautiful and disciplined phase of my life. I worked in architecture and interior design studios, but I always longed for a more personal connection, a place where I could truly understand the stories behind people.
Joining the STORY team felt like finding my home. I have a genuine passion for learning people's stories and reflecting them, whether in their homes or through art. In addition to design, art is a significant part of my life, where I capture what inspires me, like people's life stories.
I hope to have the chance to create a unique story for your spaces. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me!

2. Worth the splurge: Artwork - it’s essential for adding personality and warmth to any

3. What’s your guilty pleasure? I absolutely love salted chocolate with caramel- it’s the
perfect blend of sweet and salty.
4. What’s one item you can’t live without in your home? Soft, ambient lighting. I love
creating a cozy atmosphere with lights that aren’t too hard or direct.
5. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received? “Always be grateful for what
you have.” It’s the key to finding joy in everyday life.
6. Morning person or night owl? I’ve been an early riser since birth.
7. A favorite family ritual? Eating at my grandparent’s house every Saturday with the
whole family.
STORY Design was built on a foundation of friendship, creativity, and a shared belief that homes should feel deeply personal. Childhood friends Jenny and Andrea spent years brainstorming business ideas while navigating corporate careers, motherhood, moves, and life in two different countries. It wasn’t until they both independently, albeit simultaneously, pursued interior design educations that everything finally clicked; this wasn’t just another idea, it was the one.
What began as a leap of faith between lifelong friends has evolved into a boutique, family-owned studio rooted in thoughtful design, storytelling, and creating homes that feel layered, soulful, and truly reflective of the people living within them. Through a serendipitous Instagram search, architecturally trained designer Belén Gasquet eventually found STORY Design and quickly became the perfect addition to their small-but-mighty team. Together, they share an obsession exploration in transitional design through colour, materiality, functionality, and homes that beautifully support the realities of modern family life.
